Meetha (Sweet) Honey Fried Chicken
(4 pound) boneless chicken, cut into pieces
salt and pepper to taste
½ cup honey
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 packet chicken bouillon cubes
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 quart vegetable oil for frying
Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper, then coat each seasoned chicken piece with honey.
In a shallow dish or bowl, mix together the garlic powder, chicken bouillon cubes and flour. Coat honey coated chicken pieces in flour mixture, coating completely.
Fill a large, heavy skillet with oil until full about 1 inch. Heat over medium to high heat.
Fry chicken for at least 5 min. per side, until well cooked and juices run clear.
For Desi Twist, add ½ tsp chilli and ¼ tsp cumin powder in flour mixture.
